This brand is notable because of its commitment to sustainability, using recycled polyester, environment-friendly fabrics, and local sourcing to create its product. 

JOJA by Josephine Skriver and Jasmine Tookes

JOJA was named by merging the beginning letters of the names of its founders, model duo Josephine Skriver and Jasmine Tookes. What began as an online health and fitness community naturally evolved into an activewear brand five years later after the two friends saw a demand for merchandise.

Zoezi Sport by Yvonne Bulimo

After Yvonne Bulimo started her fitness journey, she sought to create a brand that she saw herself reflected in. Being of Kenyan descent and having recently moved back after graduating from Howard University, she chose the name “Zoezi,” meaning “exercise” in Swahili, to represent her creation. As a firm believer that looking good while you exercise motivates you to keep going, she designed her activewear with this in mind.

POWERHANDZ by Darnell and Danyel Surrency Jones

Having used a makeshift weighted glove for some time and realizing there was no product like it on the market to fit his training needs, Darnell Jones created POWERHANDZ with his partner Surrency Jones.
